The Myth of The Creative Block

Creative block is a myth.

Let’s deconstruct why.

First, we’ll examine language and the power it has over our lives.

Then, you’ll go out and live happily ever after…

Joking aside, that in some way is the very power of language.

To be creative points towards creativity.

The word creativity is two parts.

Its your creative reality.

When we express our creativity, what is actually occurring is we are perceiving reality through our creative filter.

Reality is not observed, it is created because it is a product how your fundamental story of self.

Story is language.

We tend to falsely believe that language is descriptive, but the truth is that language is creative.

Language creates, not describes.

Words like ‘Abracadabra’ point to this truth.

This literally translates to,

‘As I speak, so I create.”

Language is creative not descriptive.

If creativity is your perception of reality through your ability to create, then where does the blockage come from?

The block may feel real, but it is not truth.

If creativity relates to the fundamental story of self, blockage must so too.

Nothing outside of you creates your fundamental story.

It must occur inside of you.

We can gather beliefs unconsciously, but you must understand that this all happens inside the self.

Anything you believe to be blocking your potential stems from how you are currently relating to yourself.

The way you view your story now may have you believe you are blocked, but there’s a funny little paradox hidden in plain sight.

Reality just like language is creative, not descriptive.

So the perceived creative block is in and of itself a creative act.

There is some seed of belief that leads you to use language, both in mind and voice to create this reality.

All of reality is created.

A creative block is just as creative of an act as sculpting a masterwork.

The way this perceived blockage re-designs your fundamental story you have of yourself is wildly creative.

Your creative block is creativity manifest.

It’s a superimposition of something that feels real on top of what is always truth.

The way we collaborate with the creative block is to separate from the story that believes there is blockage or that this is a problem.

We focus less attention on the perceived block and direct our energy towards feeling, not thought.

Creative block is at best a lens of perceived thought.

IT may have a physiological response, but it begins with thought.

SO instead of thinking different thoughts,

Switch the program

Bypass the mind

And get into the body, the feeling, the essence.

There is no block if you are embodied.
